Time poor

Apologies. I seem to have lost momentum with my big fat green blog. I have been concentrating my efforts on my network marketing businesses and my personal blog at http://www.michellegoddard.com

If you are interested in reading about leadership, marketing and learning to gain your financial freedom, you might find it of interest. If not, I do hope to find more time in future to write about green issues and nutrition as before, but please bear with me.. there are only so many hours in the day!

Are there any green network marketing businesses?

Getting started in business isn’t so hard.  At least the very first step is usually easy.  You decide to do it.  OK job done.  But then what?  For want of a better idea, you start your blog.  Everyone has a blog these days right?  But what is everyone talking about?

I want to write about being green, about green business, because there shouldn’t really be any other kind of business any more. There is really no excuse for continuing to destroy our environment when we know better. So I’m looking into green businesses and how to go about getting involved in a great green business. And marketing that business, network marketing that business.. online.  Are there any green MLM businesses?  That is my first research project.  And how to go about network marketing online is my second project.  Those two research projects are both currently underway.

So what I have found out so far?  Well two companies have surfaced in all that I have been reading out in the big world wide web over the past few weeks.  One company that has actually been around since the eighties surprisingly.  And we all thought that ‘green’ was a new thing, well at least recent.  But this company has been going strong for 25 years and although it makes strong its claim NOT to be an MLM business, its not far off and actually I have no problem with that, but you can see why they might want to distance themselves from the stigma of MLM.

It’s just semantics to call it a direct selling company in my mind.  Since MLM is just a marketing strategy and a pretty good one in essence.  So you find a product or service you like and you tell a friend.. and they give it a go and start buying it too, but the company is grateful to you for recommending them to your friend, so they give you a cut of the action.  Doesn’t sound too bad so far?  I think as long as you can find great products that you needed to buy regularly anyway and you want to keep using them and are happy to recommend them to other people, you can’t go too far wrong.  If that company pays me to spread the word about their products instead of spending that money putting out annoying adverts on TV, it can’t be all bad can it?

Another business I am currently researching is brand new, well in its infancy anyway.  Just about 18 months old and seemingly doing well, selling the perfect product for absolutely everyone, food!  Fresh, healthy, organic vegetables.  I am keen to get on one of their webinars soon to learn more about it, especially since there is still the opportunity to get in early and be a part of their pioneer program.  So watch this space for more information, I will shortly post a link to their site, so you can check it out for yourself.

Alongside the business ideas, I’m learning as much as I can about online marketing. Right now that means MLSP, article marketing, attraction marketing and SEO to name but a few. I have a lot of reading to do, but I’m loving it, this is the future of marketing and anyone that doesn’t know about those things is missing a trick. I shall endeavour to share all I learn with you dear reader, so please feel free to comment, ask questions, tell me something I don’t know and maybe we can do this together and make our lives better in the process.

So here I am at the beginning of an exciting journey to a place I cannot completely imagine yet, but I’m working on that.
